چکیده

Background: The most significant and challenging health issue of the modern era is diabetes mellitus its complications. Inflammation plays a crucial role in development progression diabetes. Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patients(T2DM) are at risk developing cardiovascular diseases. High-sensitive CRP (hs-CRP) has become reliable indicator low-grade inflammation. Since very little known regarding relationship between hs-CRP T2DM, goal this study was to evaluate levels lipid profile their problems patients. Material Methods: current carried out Index Medical College Hospital Indore. group consisted 70 healthy controls patients who had been diagnosed following WHO criteria. Serum concentrations as well (total cholesterol, HDL, TG) were assessed. SPSS version 26 used analyze data. Results: In comparison controls, individuals with significantly higher hs-CRP, mean value 2.49 + 1.15 mg/L (p <0.001).

Association between the level of glycosylated hemoglobin and serum lipid profile in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus

Background: Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder characterized by defect in insulin secretion and action resulting in hyperglycemia. Diabetic patients have deranged body metabolisms particularly for lipids which may result in abnormal levels of serum levels of lipids. Methods: The aim of this study is to find any possible correlation between the the glycosylated hemoglobin and the...

Effects of bromocriptine mesylate on homocysteine and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein levels in patients with type-2 diabetes mellitus

INTRODUCTION Quick release bromocriptine (BROM-QR), currently approved for glycemic control, reduces the risk of cardiovascular events in adults with type-2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). This study evaluates the effect of BROM-QR on homocysteine (HOMC) and high sensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), the biochemical markers of coronary atherosclerosis/inflammation, in patients with uncontrolled T2DM...

Association Between 3\'APOB-VNTR Polymorphism and Plasma Lipid Profiles in Type 2 Diabetes Patients

Objective: Apolipoprotein B (APOB) plays an important role in the metabolism of cholesterol and impairment in its function can lead to cholesterol accumulation in the pancreatic islets. It can then reduce insulin secretion and lead to Type 2 diabetes (T2DM). The purpose of this study was to investigate the association of 3chr('39')APOB-VNTR polymorphism with plasma lipid profiles in T2DM indivi...

High-sensitivity C-reactive protein in subjects with type 2 diabetes mellitus and/or high blood pressure.

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM2) and high blood pressure (HBP) may contribute to the development of cardiovascular disease, and inflammation may be an important factor in these diseases. In the present study, plasma levels of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) were measured in subjects with DM2 and/or HBP and compared to those of normal subjects. Eighty-nine subjects were analyzed for h...
